Provincial Response to National Day of Mourning - Monday, September 19, 2022
As per the Premier's statement earlier this afternoon, schools will be closed on Monday, September 19th, 2022, in honour of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's funeral service. Schools will re-open for regular instruction on Tuesday, September 20th, 2022.
New School Bus Registration System and Bus Pass Program
For the 2022-2023 school year, School District No.48 is pleased to introduce a new bus registration system and fully implement a bus pass program for all student riders. Just Released: 24 Hour Drum - Going Strong (2021)
Leading up to this year’s 24 Hour Dum in May, we would like to share with you last year’s video featuring the Indigenous Leadership students finding their voices and celebrating their culture amidst the pandemic. Six schools dance, sing, drum and speak to issues of oppression, white privilege, white fragility, and micro-aggressions. This film celebrates a full year of cultural revitalization in Mount Currie, Pemberton, Squamish, Brackendale, and Whistler, BC.
