3-Year School Calendar Development Survey

This school year, School District 48 is completing a school calendar development process for each of the next three school years. By clicking on the headline, it will link to a website describing the calendar development process, along with information to help you provide input to the Board of Education. On this webpage, you can review the draft calendars and complete a brief survey, which should take about 10-15 minutes of your time. The Board appreciates your input. The survey will close on Friday, December 16th at 4:00 pm.

16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence

Today marks the start of 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-based Violence. This international campaign begins every year on November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, and concludes on December 10, Human Rights Day. The 16 Days of Activism has taken place every year since 1991, and this year’s theme is “Unite! Activism to Violence Against Women and Girls!”. On November 11, Canadians pause in a moment of remembrance to honour the courage and sacrifice of all veterans who have served our country. Today, schools across our district will host ceremonies to commemorate Remembrance Day.
